went to get my mail...and my garbage is still sitting outside...all by itself, called the garbage company...will get it tomorrow...they dont know why mine was missed---

even went out early to make sure I got it out on time!

and that stomach ache comes with a low grade fever and sore throat...

So today I really realize that for some weird reason, whenever I'm in english class or when someone asks me to translate something from french to english, I lose almost all of my vocabulary >.>
But it made me happy to see that my english teacher (who is british) has the same problem xD.

thanks all...I have been doing quite a lot of sleeping the last few days....feel a wee bit better, hope to get the upper hand this weekend.
(if you have a few languages you will have the problem of never remembering certain words in one--you will always come up with the one in a different language....for me I learned french first, swedish and then japanese....so if I cant come up with a japanese word I will usually remember the french word for it

....vocabulary is a strange thing).

well I think that cold is finally here (and not just my virus)....gunna crawl back in my blankeys soon....tooo dang cold out of them!

foreign languages are like math--if you 'get' mathematical formulas you will do with foreign languages....and vise versa.
I am 'good' at math--never quite got my mind around some of the advanced stuff (and the infinite geometrical series?? still has me baffled 28 years later)....so I do ok with languages--never can get to fluent

but I can understand stuff (usually

)....would be nice to be fluent in at least one more language ....

yes, weekend....time to...go to the pharmacy and see if I can get my prescriptions this weekend without having to go to more than 2 (they always seem to be 'out' of mine

I can understand Spanish somewhat, but I can't really speak it at all. Oh well.

I just picked up my allergy prescription yesterday. $15... But it last me for a couple months usually. Which is good.

I saw that. Crazy to think she is dead. But she didn't live the healthiest life style so I guess it isn't a complete surprise. When you abuse drugs and other things, it is going to definitely affect your length of life.

I knew something was up when I heard 3 of her songs in a row on TV. But I was shocked that none of my friends made even one small mention to that (but they must tell everyone that they ate eggs for breakfast...)

I am glad that I have no allergies (or I am not aware of them).
1 more week, and then I can start relaxing a little because my school schedule will get lighter.

yeah...reminds me of Judy Garland--she was on lots of stuff (uppers and then downers since the uppers did too much upping...etc)...and died young too.
mystifies the mind really how people can get hooked on that stuff.
Just got news that someone else my hubby's family died (great uncle of some cousin--realllllly extended family)....oy

think I got the upper hand on the cold...still feel a bit ache-y, stuffed up and tired (some of those are normal for me

)...but I believe I won this round!
